Charming atmosphere with unique features like an unmanned honesty bar where you jot down your own drink orders. The living room offers oversized chess pieces for some fun, and the location allows for a pleasant stroll into town, even if it's uphill.
The single room with garden view I stayed in felt cramped with too much furniture, and the TV was out of commission. No remote control made it harder to use. The heater was cranked up fully, making it stuffy until I managed to adjust it. A kettle placement issue was annoying as it wasn't near a plug, requiring awkward maneuvering. While close to a car park, it would have been ideal if parking was free, given the higher room rates.

Great for a weekend escape
Had a real nice surprise. Staff were super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast? Oh man, you get a fresh cafetiere coffee and the full English? Really fills you up for the day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still pretty reasonable for what you get.

The room was super cozy with comfy beds and a lovely view of the garden. We really enjoyed grabbing snacks from the honesty bar while lounging in the relaxing garden area. Just a tip, make sure to plan your parking ahead of time, as it can be a bit tricky to find a spot nearby. I’d definitely recommend this place for a chill getaway! 😊

A cozy gem!
Spent one night in a lovely garden room. It was super comfy with great coffee and homemade biscuits. Breakfast in the conservatory was a treat with so many tasty options! Staff were friendly, especially Ellie, who sorted our minor toilet issue like a champ. Just a heads-up, parking can be a bit tricky if you don’t plan ahead.
