Exceptional breakfast selection

Charming atmosphere with unique features like an unmanned honesty bar where you jot down your own drink orders. The living room offers oversized chess pieces for some fun, and the location allows for a pleasant stroll into town, even if it's uphill.

The single room with garden view I stayed in felt cramped with too much furniture, and the TV was out of commission. No remote control made it harder to use. The heater was cranked up fully, making it stuffy until I managed to adjust it. A kettle placement issue was annoying as it wasn't near a plug, requiring awkward maneuvering. While close to a car park, it would have been ideal if parking was free, given the higher room rates.

The room had a comfy bed, tea/coffee maker, and a TV with streaming service options. Loved the bathrobe and the fresh bottle of water provided too. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local options. The fitness center came in handy for a morning workout. The garden area felt very relaxing with nice seating.

This hotel suits me perfectly! It offers free Wi-Fi in rooms, a cozy bar/lounge area, and helpful luggage storage. During my first stay, the staff even assisted me in finding my lost ID card. Definitely coming back for my next business trip!

Great for a weekend escape

Had a real nice surprise. Staff were super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast? Oh man, you get a fresh cafetiere coffee and the full English? Really fills you up for the day.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still pretty reasonable for what you get.

I had a delightful stay at Darwin's Townhouse! The charming decor and comfortable room created a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast offered fantastic choices, truly a treat! Though the shower pressure fluctuated, it didn’t overshadow my enjoyable experience. I’ll return for sure!

Spent one night in a lovely garden room. It was super comfy with great coffee and homemade biscuits. Breakfast in the conservatory was a treat with so many tasty options! Staff were friendly, especially Ellie, who sorted our minor toilet issue like a champ. Just a heads-up, parking can be a bit tricky if you don’t plan ahead.
